checkout
the
htsserver-repository
through anonymous (pserver) CVS by issueing the following instructions:
cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.htsserver.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/htsserver login
cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.htsserver.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/htsserver co pyhtsserver
This will get the latest version of htsserver from the repository and store it in the directory 'pyhtsserver' on your local machine.
When prompted for a password, just hit Enter.
You can browse the repository online if you wish.
Use
diff -Naur olddir newdir > patchfileto generate patches which you can send to me.
Test these patches with
patch -Np0 < patchfileIf the patch works, you can send it to me.
If you plan to make lots of changes, it's better to send several smaller patches than a big one. This will ease including your changes in the distribution.
